Seek the things you’d oft avoid,
Make yourself engage.
Give your mind a chance to learn,
And life to rearrange.

It’s easier said than done, one could contest,
This idea to take things on.
But if we don’t confront, the limits we have,
We’ll never see beyond.

And so it is, we take that step,
And journey towards the unknown,
And if we push ourselves to dare,
The chance will be, we’ve grown.

So set your sights, and dare to dream,
To find a new tomorrow,
And life will give us, cause to hope,
That lifts us from our sorrows.

And when you look, back where you’ve been,
And see how far you’ve come,
You’ll know the journey, you made today,
Is one you’d want for everyone.

So, have heart my friend, and take a breath,
Be gentle with your soul,
For the times we engage in life’s travails,
Is when we become whole.

For the courage it takes to reach outside our comfort zone, and grow…
